Bring our issues in front of Ombudsman with the kind of time line we expect and let him take it up with the Govt.
I strongly doubt whether he could help. I am not sure how many people have done like me, but the recent change of de-linking H4 time from H1 was a year long effort by me with all the laws reffered and countered arguments that i provide to ombudsman. He helped in that but the help was routing it to appropriate AG's staff. So with such a deluge of application , he will analysis and make a recommendation that would take as long as this EAD issue will cease to be an issue and that would take another year for USCIS to implement.

I do not see a reason for what they are doing. The Original July VB was in Archived Bulletins as of july 2nd. The revised one is placed in the current visa Bulletins. So why the changes? is there any diference?

Please file for SSNs quoting this stimulus package and get the refund. If someone tries and SSA refuses, we can take it up with legislators or even pursue litigation.

Rather I would like to add more items to what u have listed-
1. Its wrong for EB2 filers to find/marry a us citizen. That will be unethical of them to do as they will be jumping lines. Because u would be unable to do if u would have married non-citizen..so based on GCTest's logic please dont marry us citizen or if u have marriued continue to only use you EB2 application for processing :-)
2. Also people who are now planning of using EB5 (assuming u have now saved/gather enough money). So EB2, EB3 or other people u have been saving money and are now thinking of risking ur money/career/life on EB5 filing..please dont do that...because that will be unethical.....u r doing it bcos u now have money. Per GCTest's logic u did not having money u filed ur EB2 or EB3 application so if u have money now...dont try to use it.

They don't seem to be going in any order. Some applications from April was cleared recently where as Feb March is still pending..

My I-140 approved at TSC on 02/23 and my attorney received the approval notice.

The economic stimulus package just provides a one time rebate check. Imagine the rebate you would get on EAD and AP renewals if we all support IV and get the 3 yr EAD/AP admin fix accomplished. A saving of $645 / person ($305 - AP, $340 - EAD) for 2 out of 3 years. There is no AGI limit or SSN limitation for getting this rebate :D
If IV is able to accomplish few other items on the admin fix campaign like recapture of visas. The dates will move forward and more ppl will get GC's aand hence those folks who have spouses with ITIN now will be eligible for SSN then. If you aren't eligible for the rebate in 2007 tax return, you can claim the tax rebate on U'r 2008 tax return (provided U are eligible then).

Only your office and USCIS can help us by releasing statistics on the number and categories of applications pending with USCIS people waiting in this category can plan their lives accordingly.
It will be a great help if DOS or USCIS could tell us about the number of AOS application pending at USCIS along with their Categories(EB-3, EB-2, EB-1) and chargeable country.
We have been waiting for a decade and continue to wait would it be reasonable to request you for some guidance with regards to the Visa allotment. I request your office to provide some statistics on home many Adjustment of Status applications are pending at USCIS.

It is a good idea to release it when something related to immigration is going on in senate or house. During this time, all major news network pickup articles from these wires based on keywords like "immigration, border issue etc"
So make sure you add appropriate keywords when you do the release.

Trust me, my friend - I surely believe in systematic movement and by this june/july it will be Dec05 or beyond. Dates for EB2 have stayed around apr04 for really longer and then suddenly to 06. Very few perms were cleared in 05 (as per your posting). It should logivcally be past 2005 , never to go back.BTW ,we missed GC last aug/sept lotto
Me too. Actually , when the movement is not systematic and the gates are wide open, then they randomly pick up the cases and approve whatever file comes to them. The ones with older PDs suffer a lot while the ones with new ones get their GCs.

You must be a permanent resident to open or own an S-Corp. An LLC is the best way to go and if you are not engaged in actual sale of goods, you can register this LLC in Nevada and pay no corporate taxes. I've done it. All income then passes through your own filing. Have a CPA and I strongly recommend you do this. Registering a NV LLC only costs $195 annually. Go to incorpservices.com and it will walk you through.
